The EAT•SHOP•GIVE fall fund-raising program ended with a total of 291 certificates sold and donations of $1,295 in addition to the sales. Certificates that have been purchased may be used until December 31, 2016.

In this effort, people purchase certificates to local restaurants and businesses and for each of the $20 certificates sold, the Center for Healing & Hope receives $10 and the participating business or restaurant receives $10. Supporters also are encouraged to give an additional amount to CHH, and the first $1,000 of these gifts is matched.

“We are grateful for this strong support for our mission of providing medical care for people without a medical home,” Bryan Mierau, executive director of CHH, said. “We especially value the EAT•SHOP•GIVE program because it is a way that our community and CHH support each other. It is only with gifts like this from businesses and individuals and the gifts of time from many volunteers that CHH is able to provide care and advocacy to meet needs and strengthen our community.”
