The Center for Healing & Hope is pleased to announce that Missy Schrock, MBA, BS, was recently appointed Executive Director of the Center for Healing & Hope.

“We were impressed with Missy’s commitment to the mission of Center for Healing & Hope,” said board chair Dr. Amanda Schmidt. “Additionally, she has a strong background in development and management and we thought those would be great assets for us.  We believe she will work well with the staff and board to help the Center for Healing & Hope continue to provide quality medical and advocacy services for our community.”

Prior to accepting this position, Schrock worked as the Director of Giving at Greencroft Communities. Before that, she held roles as the Director of Advancement at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, General Manager of The Depot MCC Thrift Shops, and Manager of Ten Thousand Villages in Bluffton, Ohio. Schrock holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Leadership from Bluffton University (2016) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion from Eastern Mennonite University (1992). She also holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from The Fundraising School at the IU Lily School of Philanthropy (2014). She currently serves as the Michiana Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) Network Hub Board Chair working at developing business solutions to poverty. She has served in this capacity since July 2018. She is also a member of Berkey Avenue Mennonite Fellowship.

“I am excited to be part of the mission of Center for Healing & Hope, even as we experience significant changes in our services due to COVID-19,” said Schrock. “I believe we have a unique opportunity to care for those in our community who are the most vulnerable and I value the opportunity to be part of a team who is committed to serving in this way.”

To support the mission of our clinic, staff, and volunteers and as Missy gets settled into her position, the board and staff invite you to hold them in your prayers, sign up to volunteer, or make a charitable contribution.
