Office of Solidarity with Immigrants

The Office of Solidarity with Immigrants is a shared space at Prairie Street Mennonite Church in Elkhart. It is open to immigrants in the community to meet with Center for Healing & Hope’s Immigrant Resource Coordinator to apply for financial aid, ask questions about how to access legal aid, or make any other inquiries related to establishing a sense of stability in the United States.

To schedule an appointment at the Office of Solidarity with Immigrants, you can text the Immigrant Resource Coordinator at 574-205-9425 or send a Whatsapp message to 574-392-9410. “Walk-ins” are welcome, however there may be a significant waiting time and/or the office may be closed, so we recommend messaging before coming, even if it is last minute.

La Casa de Amistad (LCDA) has been providing the Elkhart community with Elkhart Resident Identification (ERID) cards for many years at Prairie Street Mennonite Church.  If Elkhart residents are interested in acquiring an ERID they can call LCDA at 574-233-2120 and schedule an appointment at the OSI in Elkhart to obtain a card. All Goshen Resident Identification (GRID) cards must be registered for at Center for Healing & Hope’s office in Goshen.
